Ricoh is charging their customers to take a phone call for meter reads or a supply order!

  1. Today I met with a current Ricoh customer who was forced to order Toner for his Ricoh copier via the My Ricoh Web site. He went ahead an ordered the toner and the wrong toner showed up. It was the same item # that he ordered but it was not the correct toner for his particular Ricoh copier. He went back on to his My Ricoh web site and double checked that what he ordered was for his Ricoh copier and it was the same item #. The web site had the wrong toner associated with his Ricoh model. So he called up Ricoh to get this resolved. He was told that he would have to pay for this phone call, to which he took umbrage! They eventually sent him the correct toner, but still haven’t figured out how to get the wrong toner returned. I am guessing he is going to have to risk paying another $12 to call Ricoh or they will end up charging him for the wrong toner that they sent to him. Maybe that’s why this Ricoh customer is talking to me.
